ADP2370
ADI ADP2370 1.2 A synchronous step-down regulator with a low quiescent current, fast transient response and a 3.2 to 15 V input, in an 8-lead LFCSP.
The ADP2370 is a synchronous step-down regulator from ADI that delivers a single rail at a high efficiency and a low quiescent current, which suits a battery-powered or an always-on system that must not waste power. The synchronous rectifier removes the external catch diode and raises the efficiency across the load, and the part uses a current-mode control with a fast transient response, so it holds the output when a digital load steps quickly. The input range of about 3.2 V to 15 V covers a 3.3 V, a 5 V and a 12 V bus as well as a lithium battery, and the configurable output with a small external divider sets the rail to the required voltage. The low quiescent current keeps the standby loss small, which extends the life of a battery, and a power-save mode drops the switching to a low frequency at a light load and recovers the efficiency without a large output ripple. A precision enable, a power-good and a soft-start simplify the system control, and the small LFCSP package carries the heat to the board. Typical applications include a portable or a battery-powered instrument, a point-of-load rail in a distributed system, a communications or a networking card and an industrial control node. Every device BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the output and the inductor and plan the layout.
FAE Professional Review
The ADP2370 is an efficient single-rail synchronous buck with a low quiescent current, which suits a battery or an always-on node where standby loss matters. The current-mode loop gives a fast transient response for a digital load, and the small package and the integrated rectifier keep the part count low. Choose the inductor and the output capacitor for the transient you expect.

Frequently Asked Questions
What projects suit the ADP2370?
It suits a single-rail, power-sensitive design such as a portable instrument or an always-on node, with a high efficiency, a low quiescent current and a fast transient response.
Confirm the output and the load for your design.
How do I choose the inductor?
Pick the inductor for the target ripple current and the peak current, and check the saturation rating against the load, then size the output capacitor for the transient you expect. The layout of the switching loop matters as much as the parts.
Read the power supply design guide.
Is the regulator genuine and documented?
BeiLuo supplies factory-traceable ADP2370 regulators with an import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS file on every order. Stock is normally available and the datasheet downloads from this page.
